God has been talking to me about the new invitation that he is extending to people to greater intimacy with Him. To go deeper into his heart. I was in worship on Sunday just spending time with the Lord and I asked if he had anything to show me. I felt this call to go deeper and saw a picture of flash lights.

I asked the Lord what he was saying and he said “Jason they aren’t flash lights they are search lights. Intimacy is not just knowing about someone’s heart it is also being known by them, having the other person in the relationship know their heart.

I heard the scripture, Psalm 139:23-24 “Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.”

I said “God I give you permission to search me and to know me completely” and this was the startling and powerful moment for me. I heard the voice of God so clearly instantly respond “Jason you have permission to search my heart and to know me completely”.

You see true intimacy is not just God knowing about our heart but US knowing HIS heart. Accept his invitation to go deeper with him this week. Be still and know that he is God, give him permission to search your heart and accept his invitation to search his.
